Wonderful tight and excellent overall condition of this rare first american edition of Finnegans Wake. Provenance: From the library of one Robert D. Parsons with his bookplate to the front pastedown, dated in 1941. Tiny Booksellers Label from McClelland & Co. in Columbus, Ohio.

The first American edition of Finnegans Wake was published by Viking Press in New York on May 4, 1939. It was printed by offset from the advance proofs of the British edition and was formally published on the same day as the London edition. (Publisher)
