Roaring Water Bay.

Epoxy resigned, circular Wood Panel. Toronto, 2024. Dimensions of Wood Panel: 44” (112 cm in Diameter, on 5 cm thick panel). “Roaring Water Bay” is one of the latest works of Canadian artist Brooke Palmer. Roaring Water Bay is one of the most picturesque and stunning Bays of Western Europe. If you are coming over the Hill from Bantry you are met with a fantastic View over the Bay, towards Sherkin Island and Cape Clear. Brooke Palmer’s painting invites you to dream in the abstract whirlpool of the waters he has captured in a maelstrom of white and blue. The Resin applied to finish the painting is indicative of a Day out on the Ocean with the Wind standing still and the splendour of restless maritime nature happening under the surface. ″Roaring Water Bay” is one of the paintings Brooke painted in the series of Art he has dedicated for the collaboration with ‘Inanna Modern’ and it can be viewed in one of the two outlets for Brooke Palmer Art in Skibbereen, County Cork [Visit either “Inanna Modern” or “The Masonic Hall”, where Brooke Palmer’s Art is showcased among the setting of a Library].

With this remarkable piece, Brooke takes you on a journey along “The Wild Atlantic Way”. Unfurling Heavenbound

Acrylic on Canvas. Toronto, 2023. Canvas: 153 cm wide x 92 cm high. ‘Unfurling Heavenbound’ is one of the remarkable recent works of Canadian artist Brooke Palmer. It is the first painting Brooke painted in the series of art he has dedicated for the collaboration with ‘Inanna Modern’. Inanna Modern has invited Brooke to venture into the european art market because his work is exactly what art should be: singular. From conversations with the artist we know that all his latest work is inspired by exactly what the title of this painting promises, an unfurling of new emotions and the excitement for new beginnings, manifested in shapes and colour.
