The stunning Images are showing everyday-life, merchants, people in streets, Warehouses in Nikko, Hakone Road, Bamboo Grove Near Kyoto, Temples, etc. etc. etc. as well as some stunning images of Hairdressing and Children playing a Cardgame wearing their Kimono.
Japan [Kyoto / Nikko and other locations], c. 1890-1900. Each slide 8.3 cm x 8.3 cm. One Plate in Black-and-White, all other 44 Plates in colour. Very good condition with only minor signs of wear. All Plates with their original, uncleaned Patina. Only one slide with a slightly broken off corner, held by a strip of paper.
