Very good condition, with some signs of browning to the outer margins only. Slight creasing to the top right coner of map. Professionally repaired tear to lower centre fold, barely noticeable given the quality of the workmanship. Latin text on reverse.

Original copper engraving. Amsterdam, Kircher, [c.1665]. Plate Size: 40.2 cm x 34.1 cm. Sheet Size: 37 cm x 39.1 cm. Original Map. Very good condition of an increasingly rare map. Very minor traces of browning to outer margins.

3. Antilles – Homann, Erben. (1702 – 1848).

Dominia Anglorum in præcipuis Insulis Americæ ut sunt Insula S. Christophori Antega Iamaica Barbados, nen non Insulæ Bermudes vel Sommers dictæ. / Die Englische Colonie-Laender Auf den Insuln von America und zwar Insuln S. Original hand-coloured map. Nuremberg, Homann Heirs, [c.1740]. Plate Size: 55.6 cm x 48.7 cm. Sheet Size: 60 cm x 52 cm. Original map. Very good condition. Trace of foxing along sheet edges. Minor open tear with missing material evident to fore edge. Lower margin running out towards left corner. Centre-fold as issued.

4. Americas – Homann, Johann Baptist. (1664 – 1724).

Original hand-coloured engraving. Nürnberg, Homann, 1746. Plate Size: 53 cm x 46 cm. Sheet Size: 56.3 cm x 50 cm. Original map. Very good+ condition. Expertly restored map with reinforced edges. Faintest traces of the professional repairs barely evident such is the quality of the restoration.

5. Caribbean – Brué, Adrien-Hubert. (1786 – 1832).

Discreet author’s blind stamp with ‘Carte Encyprotipe’ and initials ‘AB’ embossed in top corner of map. Centre-fold as issued.
